Our Mission

From the CCC Constitution

The objective of this Church is to honor and glorify God and to worship Him in obedience to the command of the Lord Jesus, to make disciples. (Matthew 28:19-20) Making disciples is a process that includes leading persons to the salvation experience with Christ, to believer’s baptism, and to full fellowship in the Church. It further includes shepherding them into spiritual growth and development, including Bible Study and private and group devotions, that they may become mature in Christ, exercising whatever spiritual gifts may be theirs in the work of the ministry. (Ephesians 4:12)

It is our goal to utilize the following ministries in effecting this purpose, bringing them into reality and/or implementing them as they may apply and we deem appropriate.

WORSHIP – Both public and private celebration of faith in God, exercising freedom to love and adore Him and to know Him and know more of Him, and to sing, pray, and study His word. (John 4:23)

MISSIONS AND CHURCH GROWTH – The International planning and provision of means to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ and to promote meaningful spiritual growth in all areas, beginning at home and with one’s immediate neighbors and expanding to the uttermost parts of the earth. (Matthew 28:19-20)

EDUCATION AND EQUIPPING – To provide members of all ages a means of growth and fellowship, to help them develop toward full Christian maturity, and to train them in ministry skills and the use of spiritual gifts to edify the Church. (II Timothy 2:2, 15; Ephesians 4:11-13)

MINISTRY CARE – to encourage and care for each other. To serve unselfishly, in Jesus name, toward meeting the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of those in our Church, community, and the world. (Matthew 25:34-40; Acts 6:1-6; I Thessalonians 5:11)

SPECIALIZED MINISTRIES – To provide specialized ministry to segments of the Church, such as Women’s Ministries, Men’s Ministries, Youth Ministries, Children’s Ministries, Singles Ministries, Senior Adult Ministries, and other ministries as need may be recognized or identified.

BUSINESS AFFAIRS – To guide the business affairs of the Church according to sound business principals and financial integrity. (Acts 20:28; II Corinthians 4:1-2; I Peter 4:10)

Each and all of these ministries should be implemented with the realization that we individually and as a church body are but stewards, and that everything we are and possess rightfully belongs to God and is only entrusted to us. It is of no little importance that our life-style reflect the fact that we are His; our conversation, dealings, and relationship with others should not bring discredit to our Savior’s name; and it is incumbent upon us that we return to Him the tithe and offerings and to rightfully use the remainder of our income. (Malachi 3:10; I Corinthians 4:1-2; I Peter 4:10)
